I honestly believed, from the 1980s until just now, that Audiovox was Radio Shack’s in-house brand for headphones. Since apparently Audiovox is still around, I guess that was wrong.

@gsrivast If you have a surplus airplane seat in your house, maybe. If you try to use this on a commercial flight, the flight attendants are required to stop you from mounting things on the back of seats.
Even if you have a window seat in a non-exit row, they aren’t allowed to let you do it.
All it took was for just one guy to mount something that slowed down the exit process in just one evacuation from a burning airplane, that lead to some extra deaths, and now no one can mount anything to the back of seats.
Wait, you guys have enough friends to fill up the front AND the back of your car? Oh wait, kids. Nah thanks. Instead of spending $500 of mounted electronics to prevent their screaming food throwing terror while driving, I just chose to have them not exist while driving. Oh look! $500 dollars.
@goldnectar The number of toddlers I see who “need” their own iPads makes me feel a whole lot better about the automatic treat thrower that I bought for my dogs.
@arielleslie@goldnectar i got a pair of these for the kids on roadtrips. At least twice a year, we visit family in canada… its a much smoother 10 hour drive when the 3 and 5 year old can be distracted for a bit. Otherwise they just punch each other. I wouldnt take tablets for normal activities.
@jaybird It does not. I got it for my switch to use on the Vanpool. The Bluetooth headphones DO work with the switch tho, if you have a cigarette lighter plug in near the base. Audio goes into base via 3.5mm jack, then into the Bluetooth head set.
