@gnotgonna Pfui. Delenn anytime. “Only one Human captain has ever survived battle with a Minbari fleet. He is behind me. You are in front of me. If you value your lives, be somewhere else!”
@werehatrack One of my favorite scenes, followed by: “I am Susan Ivanova, Commander. Daughter of Andre and Sophie Ivanov. I am the right hand of vengeance and the boot that is going to kick your sorry ass all the way back to Earth, sweetheart! I am death incarnate, and the last living thing that you will ever see.”
Most of the females on B5 could have easily kicked Kirk’s fat, out-of-shape ass back to earth.
Of all of the ST Captains, I would put Christopher Pike at the top and James Kirk at dead last - even below the imposter Gabriel Lorca, who at least knew the names of his crew.
@rockblossom I generally agree with you, but not on Lorca. Kirk got people killed accidentally, even casually (but not always, we saw the toll on him a few times).
Every single one of the Discovery crew were expendable to Lorca. So he knew their names, that just made it easier to manipulate them towards his ends. Lorca was downright evil, but with good cause (avoiding spoilers).
@blaineg They should have known Lorca was bad from the beginning. I mean, when you get summoned to the Captain’s office and discover that the boss is Lucius Malfoy …
Picard or GTFO
@lordjynx
@lordjynx Definitely. He’s the consummate gentleman.

Picard can kiss Yoda green ass! Kirk for the win!

Pike. Here’s a sample of why.
Riker.
Who has two thumbs and can effortlessly dunk on Riker?
This guy.
@mike808 Don’t cross the streams!
Speaking of Star Wars …
@mike808
Hey, O’Brien, you want a piece of this?
Captain Ed Mercer
Kirk!
