AMA: I think I was affected by Google's battery saver experiment
4I noticed my phone was in battery saver mode recently, and I did not turn on the battery saver. I think I may have been one of the users Google rolled over into their experiment: https://www.bing.com/news/search?q=Google+battery+saver

@therealjrn Wow! I can see three USB chargers without getting up. If you count other battery chargers, conservatively, 10.

Have you been as disappointed as I have been with solar chargers?
@therealjrn I’ve never tried solar phone chargers. I like solar outdoor lights, but they don’t last long exposed to the elements. The insufficiently housed electronics corrode easily.
