Not sure how I feel on this. Bought the 65L one last time these were for sale but the price was only $40 back then. Should I be upset that it now comes with a Hydration Pack for an additional $5 that I didn’t get last time? Or be content that I got the backpack for $5 cheaper?
@candiedisilvio1 I haven’t used it yet but its rather incredible how much space you have and how well built it seems. Lots of nooks and pockets to store whatever you want.
If I can put the hydration pack inside these backpacks, then I’ll buy.
Otherwise I would stick with the hydration bag I already own (although it holds 32 oz. vs. the 50 oz. offered here). Would be nice if the hydration packs were sold by itself.
@heartny yes, but in my experience, anything but water in the reservoir eventually taints it with odd flavors. I had to soak one in lemon water and then swap that out with regular water several times to get it back to normal.
@fastharry@LifeOnaPL8@McNair The 20L is my daily bag on campus, and aside from the lack of a compartment for a laptop it is near perfect for day-to-day use. Especially if you are handy with a needle and thread and don’t mind modifying it a bit.
There’s a scene in the movie Over the Hedge where all the animals are staring at the hedge, and they’re concerned about its appearance, and one of the animals, a squirrel, says “Let’s call it Steve,” which makes everyone feel a bit better about it.
These would be great for search and rescue! Too bad I already have a bag I grabbed from meh a while ago that I use. Grab a sack when opportunity presents itself!
Ok Meh, my wife saw this gif and she has said this is horrible. I tried to explain the circle of life, heck I even put the Lion King on and she still says it horrible.
Got one of the 20L backpacks last time (and at a better price than this*). Handy and comfortable for day-hiking, but it doesn’t strike me as being wildly overbuilt. Now that I’ve said that it’ll probably last forever
*Didn’t read the fine print - I guess there’s a hydration bladder now for the extra $5. Could be worth it.
I love that the ‘random color’ in for 3 yielded every bag in red. Had I known I was buying red, it would have been a hard pass. Meh, you got me this time.

Still up for grabs.
Me: Just what I need!
You: Are you high?
Me: Yes!
Can I buy the hydration backpack on its own?
@lljk Target has em $18.99
Did not I just buy one of these on this site?
@connorbush they recycle old deals all the time. Go to morningsave.com you’ll see it there. This site is starting to get boring.

Sell me a hydration pack alone Meh overlords or I will become recalcitrant.
@bleedmichigan And then… refuse to buy a bag?
@bleedmichigan Isn’t that what happens to your kidneys if you don’t drink enough water?
How much was this item from other deceased retailers?

@EvilTuna31x Always be grateful for what you have, but remember this is Meh.
@EvilTuna31x Im thinking of getting this for my nephew who loves to hike and camp. How do you like it?
@candiedisilvio1 I haven’t used it yet but its rather incredible how much space you have and how well built it seems. Lots of nooks and pockets to store whatever you want.
You call this a hydration pack? Sale a still suit and I will be impressed.
The spice must flow

@JT954 looking at some videos the pack itself doesn’t take a lot of space.
Watch this video to get gist
@AiraCobra Interesting. This bag has the hose going over the shoulder with the nozzle facing downward.
The bag I own is called the Hydrapak Ammo. It actually feeds the hose from the bottom up and has the nozzle facing up so I never have to unfasten it.
Can this be filled with wine instead of water? Asking for a friend.
@heartny Body temperature wine?
@hchavers @heartny well the write up says you can add ice *but there are people who’ll drink room temp wine shrugs
@hchavers @heartny Well, I guess you could slip in one of those lunch cooler packs along inside the backpack?
@heartny yes, but in my experience, anything but water in the reservoir eventually taints it with odd flavors. I had to soak one in lemon water and then swap that out with regular water several times to get it back to normal.
@heartny Time for a Casemates crossover.
Bought the small pack last time. Used it in Moab last week. It’s a quality bag. Highly recommended.
@LifeOnaPL8 i bought the 30 and 65 last time. Ive been using the 30 constantly. Was considering picking up the 20.
@LifeOnaPL8 @McNair I bought the 20…use it all the time as a work pack that can carry lunch and EDC items…I would buy it…

@awilkey @LifeOnaPL8 @McNair yes, i agree.,…when i need to carry a chromebook I use the Alpine back pack meh had a sale a couple of months ago…
@awilkey @fastharry @LifeOnaPL8 @McNair lol@chromebook
You could just call the water bag “Steve”?

@YourLazyButt That doesn’t look particularly alluring.Or burgeoning.
Is it just me, or if you kind of squint your eyes and tilt your head a little, do these backpacks look like giant slugs with straps on them?

@mehcuda67 well that’s not what I expected…

I’m told you can fill the hydration pack with adult beverages for college parties… that sounds way more fun.
This offering gave me midwood.

Meh overlords, please bring back some cheerson cx-10s! I need to replenish my giveaway stock. Non-camera version.
@legnip The CX-10 and dozens of similar quads are cheap enough everywhere now that you can almost turn a profit selling them locally.

Great gifts for the nephews/neices

@Bevvie Morningsave.com is selling the Hydration Pack on its own for $18.

Either there weren’t any 65L released for VMP at 4pm or I would wasn’t quick enough. That is supposed to be 4pm EDT right?
This is a good one. The backpack is light and seems quite well made. The hydration pack is the real deal.
Very happy with it.
Did anyone else get a hydration pack that was missing the bladder?
I love that the ‘random color’ in for 3 yielded every bag in red. Had I known I was buying red, it would have been a hard pass. Meh, you got me this time.
@Bakasama You mean the hydration packs were all red or are you talking about the rain protector?
25% chance of hitting red on each bag. Hitting red 3 times in a row is crazy random!
