A very cliché Thanksgiving post
15We spend a lot of time around these parts laying blame at the feet of our vaunted scapegoats of the month. And they absolutely deserve it. But Thanksgiving is just around the corner so let's take the opportunity to do the super cliché thing and actually give thanks.
Tell us a few things that you're thankful for this holiday season and how you plan to spend your time. And if you feel like it, throw some kind words at a community member or two along the way.
I'll start.
- My ridiculously amazing new wife
- Having a freaking fantastic job that lets me be me
- Seeing my mom happy for the first time in a long while
- And as a bonus Meh related tie in, I'm thankful to have @hollboll and @galmaegi on my team, for having a boss that supports our creativity in @Dave, and for our incredibly helpful little helper @THumperChick

It's nice to see people actually express things for which they are grateful, instead of just taking things for granted.
I am thankful for @christinewas taking the blame for all the things that happened this month.
@Pavlov I'm thankful you shared that !
I just got picked up for a new job, I am thankful that I will not be living in a van down by the river.

@cranky1950 you can star your own posts, the possibilities are endless. My trackpad is wonky tonite and it clicked instead of hovered. Oh well
@cranky1950 I starred my post to make you feel better.
@sammydog01 Well it's sort if a mixed blessing. I'm mean if we could do it hundreds if times it would be way cooler.

There are many things to be thankful for this year.
Firstly, I am extraordinarily grateful that after trying for years, we're finally expecting our baby girl. She looks healthy and is active and it's overwhelming to know that we'll meet her in just a few short months.
Having my awesome husband @humper is something I'm grateful for daily. He's the most supportive person I've ever met and I'm damned lucky to have him.
There are many, many more things that I try to stop and appreciate daily. Our home, our pets, food, warmth, etc.
Then there's you guys. I talk to some of you more than members of my own family. I'm truly glad to be a part of this community.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
@Thumperchick Happy Thanksgiving. Are you and humper doing a normal thanksgivine or are you stuffing a pumpkin or something.
@cranky1950 Normal by all standards. Early meal at his dad's, later meal at his mom's. It's hard to pace yourself for 2 of those things in one day - but we'll manage. I'm bringing the brussel's sprouts I got half his family hooked on and he's bringing homemade pecan pie (my favorite.)
You?
@Thumperchick 2 Thanksgivings for you is perfect since you are eating for 2, eh? Great excuse for extra pie anyways.
@Thumperchick We're going camping. So we'll maybe go to my sisters, or cook at the campsite or TA thanksgiving special is looking attractive. Anyway it's a weekend of wiggling my toes in the ocean.
@cranky1950 Sounds fantastic! Wiggle those toes a bit for me.
What happened to the old wife? Not enough HDMI inputs?
@thechinglish
I am thankful for SNL skits.
classic:
I'm thankful for Lexapro. I love not feeling so stabby all of the time.
And my husband who has put up with me all of these years. And makes the most wonderful breakfasts ever.
@lisaviolet Less stabby is a good thing. Nice to see you back around here.
I am thankful it's lunch time.
@katylava
@MEHcus sandwich buddy!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
