Watch for Sennheiser 600s or 650s or similar to go on Amazon Gold Box deals or lightning deals sometime Thurs-Mon.
Amz seems to do some nice Senn sales every year. Last year there was a Slickdeals countdown because people thought Amz would sell out. But the inventory lasted at least thru the morning.
Actually this Meh offer today isn’t bad. These are decent.
Reviews make it sound like these are bad for people with big heads (i.e. me) and bad for noise-canceling. One person said they felt more like on-ear than over-ear headphones, which I don’t really understand. That person may have big ears.
@harveydanger@riotdeamon@f00l The “Lyric” A11 & A12 models are the on-ear version. The “Legacy” A01/A02 we’re selling are Over-Ear headphones, but A-Audio screwed up and forgot to change the text on the box.
/giphy whoops!
@jlnm Agreed, on-ear and over-ear are definitely different. Was thinking about buying these until I saw this pointed out, I hate on-ear headphones, they give me a headache.
earned a meh just for the article being entirely stutters, might as well make the next one full of ellipses so you can get all of my internet typing pet peeves out of the way.
Agree with all the above and came to say the same thing. I don’t really need ANC headphones (still rocking my Samsung Level Over’s), but the price-point is decent. They just look so god-awfully terrible.
How insensitive! Many people, well, a few people-- OK, a couple of folks-- all right, just me… are completely allergic to Neodymium. If I’m even within 59 feet of it, I start hallucinating and hearing music. There should be a global ban on it! They could easily switch to Kryptonite, and no one would get hurt.
Active noise cancellation requires power to invert ambient noise. But I could find no mention of how these are powered. Found it on Amazon: 2 AAA batteries (included)
These headphones look so cool with metal body, but the comfort level is low. The specifications that are mentioned for these headphones are quite good, but I think the price is quite high. I love to have different brand collections. I love to have headphones from Sony while my brother love to have collection from Soundmagic store. Well It depends on the choices you made to have the collection.

Too Loud!
@Stallion go to sleep grandpa
Can’t hear you meh…opps
If I wear these does this mean I don’t have to hear about the election results anymore?
@gwaki
No. you will still hear that.
‘A’ for effort?
Man these look dumb as hell, at least nobody will steal them than
Those look comfy as fuck!
My Audio Technica ath-m50x are doing a great job. No need for these!
@ELUNO I bought a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBL’s last year. I guess I should take them out of the box and try them
@ELUNO @heartny I’d buy that for $50
@ELUNO at least the logo is more understated on those.
@RiotDemon Anti bag logo lady! Run!
@ELUNO lol. No gaudy logos allowed!
@ELUNO
Damned fine sound on those.

@f00l They are? Reviews are pretty iffy… But I guess for the price they are decent…
@RiotDemon There’s a Sharpie for that…
I cannot condone such a heinous logo, especially so prominently displayed.
@iynque For real! I also disapprove of prominent logos on my personal goods. I’m not getting paid so I’d rather not be someone’s billboard.
@iynque if you glance at them quickly it looks like the Anheuser Busch logo.
Gaudy, meh.
Their ear buds sucked. Broke within 3 weeks, all 3 pairs. Meh on this one
Not a single “My g-generation” joke?
@spitfire6006006 Just yours, I guess
/8ball should anyone buy these?
Signs point to yes
@medz /giphy inside deal
this looks like an insider deal to me
8ball is corrupt!
Oh god, now am seeing double everywhere. Pass this time as over ear phones are never comfortable.
@canneddirt you really prefer on-ear to over-ear?
Two of my options. Using a third option: no.
I refuse to believe that anything quality involves quilted PVC and faux rivets.
@platojello don’t forget the bathroom plastic nob mode selectors.
Pass, Meh. Still rockin’ the 808s. Now, those are some quality headphones for $8. MOAR 808!

@harveydanger just looking at the ear cups, they don’t look long enough to make it over my normal sized ears.
Any over the ear headphones would look huge on me.
@jlnm pointed out below that the package says on the ear.
@RiotDemon Well that settles it. May want to change the title, @jasontoon (or whoever is responsible for the product header)
@RiotDemon
Good catch. On ears always hurt.
@harveydanger @riotdeamon @f00l The “Lyric” A11 & A12 models are the on-ear version. The “Legacy” A01/A02 we’re selling are Over-Ear headphones, but A-Audio screwed up and forgot to change the text on the box.
/giphy whoops!
On the package images (lover left on front) it clearly says “on-ear” Seems like Amazon and MEH descriptions are not accurate
@jlnm Agreed, on-ear and over-ear are definitely different. Was thinking about buying these until I saw this pointed out, I hate on-ear headphones, they give me a headache.
@JBMonty I agree. On ear headphones makes my ears hurt really bad.
I think to wear these and look apropos I’d have to get one of these tatts
…although I do have a gold tooth…
earned a meh just for the article being entirely stutters, might as well make the next one full of ellipses so you can get all of my internet typing pet peeves out of the way.
These are very douchey! What Jackass thought this design was acceptable?
Agree with all the above and came to say the same thing. I don’t really need ANC headphones (still rocking my Samsung Level Over’s), but the price-point is decent. They just look so god-awfully terrible.
Will the Metallica RIAA goons still be able to get you?
It’s too bad these aren’t better in too many ways to mention because I am in need of new headphones.
How insensitive! Many people, well, a few people-- OK, a couple of folks-- all right, just me… are completely allergic to Neodymium. @Jasontoon, I salute you.
How the fuck does someone do this every day?
These Legacy phones are OVER ear phones. Their on- ear phones are named Lyric.
@merryoboe maybe they got the wrong photos for the box then.
The description was the worst part about this and that’s saying a lot.
I don’t think they look that bad. I’m a buyer at $9.99.
@DaveInSoCal the original koss or bose wern’t that great looking, but it’s not like we left the house wearing them.
Just what you need for the new iPhone 7, right?

I love these things. Not the best at noise cancellation, but all in all I don’t know how I lived without them.
