@Kyeh I haven’t tried them, but that’s when staples might come in handy…? Or, for those with a lower pain threshold (like the target customers for these, perhaps), duct tape is good for everything!
@Kyeh Given the specs of “up to” 100 times, expect about 2-6 uses before you end up improvising with Ace bandages and/or duct tape to keep them in place.
@ircon96@ciabelle I’m afraid you’re probably right. I have some of these without any stickum from having oral surgery; they work okay but don’t stay cold very long because they’re so small.
I have a bunch of the small and large circles, the sticky has lasted 3+ years so far. I rinse them, let them dry, then put them back in the fridge/freezer.
@Kyeh I bought a set on Side Deal recently, so I haven’t used them a lot, but so far, they’ve been fine. The adhesive feels different from, say, medical tape. It’s more gel-like and less aggressively sticky; maybe that’s why it’s supposed to last longer.
These look like they stick directly to skin? Every doctor that’s seen my husband or myself during surgery recovery tells us to never apply icy anything directly to the skin because you can severely damage the nerve endings.
I’ll stick with my ace bandage wraps and fabric covered cool compresses, tyvm.
@jtallant They actually have some material that goes between the ice pack and your skin if you prefer to use it that way. I have these and I really like them. They are not too cold even directly on the skin.
…but they WILL keep your margarita cold!
From now on, I’ll no longer open cans of whoop ass. I’ll force-feed people paincakes instead.
@bmf That could be your wrestler name!!! PainCakes!
@bmf @bugger Or drag name.
Are these gluten free? What flavors are they?
@lichme, Fruit Punch, Purple Passion, Orange Orangutan, Blue Freeze & Cat Scratch Piss Yeller! 🫢
FYI, these things taste like shit!! Butter syrup. Doesn’t matter!! Pure shit. Tell me I’m wrong!?!?
@bugger But on the plus side, they have lots of insoluble fiber!
@bugger, i don’t know, I ain’t never tasted & you likely ain’t neither, or your name would be Shiter instead of Bugger!! 🫢
these do not waffle well.
If somebody tells me to “chill”, should I be using these?
Got any poisenberry syrup to put on these paincakes?
/showme a chill dude
@awk Yeah, he looks like he could be with the AHL. Maybe took a puck or 2 to the face.
Doesn’t the stickum on these lose its stickability after a while? Has anyone tried them?

@Kyeh,No, they’ve yet to be Charged, Tried, or Convicted!!

Do these work for déjà vu headaches?
@ircon96, That’s What She Said!
Does no one at meh know that “pain” is French for bread, not cake?
@pboser Maybe it’s a Subway problem; they can’t tell the difference…
These are great. They stay cold for a while, and stick pretty well, so far. I don’t use them very often, so haven’t had a problem with the stickiness.
My wife needs ice packs, but she would use these once and then through them away. I will stick with the old wrap sleeves.
@hchavers, But don’t ya mean ‘throw’ though¿? 🫤
@1DisabledWarVet @hchavers You can through them away if you use them right. repeatedly raises eyebrows super fast
I like these. I do have to use extra tape to keep them on my arm. The tiny ones are pretty useless.
@Fuzzalini I use the tiny ones on my temples when I get a migraine. Plus, they look amusing.
Ooh look at the buns on that one…
What do these do that a bag of frozen peas and a roll of tape can’t…
@Bjlauria They don’t tear the peas open or take off the top layer of skin. Think of a Post-It compared to regular tape.

@jtallant I found them too cold when frozen, so I keep them in the fridge. They just warm up faster.
