@pmarin
You’re right, not as much fun!
You’ve got no idea how much I NEED that offering of a IRK like box you suggested of electrolytes, pillows, underwear and massaging wraps. Not only do I have that commerce hangover but I woke up at 4am with a low grade fever and puking my guts out. My bones and muscles are killing me, I peed myself while dry heaving and I gave myself a headache.
Thank goodness I keep nausea meds on hand at all times. Ten hours later and I’m finally functioning as a human. A human in need of electrolytes, massage wraps, fresh underwear and a comfy pillow! You must be psychic!
On the brighter side of things just as I picked up my phone to respond here I heard a notification and snagged myself a BOC!
So much for not shopping today…
@Mandamm
I finally got the new site design yesterday too and at first I didn’t really like it. I figured that was because it’s just something new and different though. I’m going to give it a few weeks and then decide.
Also thinking… in a few weeks I’ll probably forget about it! Lol
@OnionSoup if anyone needs to launder money these days they do a meme coin… And tbh I am a little surprised meh has not done a meme coin. And thankful.
My wife won’t use underbed storage because supposedly it is bad Feng Shui and affects your sleep and mood. If you sleep a foot above the “clutter” it clutters your mind, even if in bags.
We all agree the only things that should be under a bed are dust, cats (sometimes help with dusting), and monsters. Well, I added the monsters part….
@pmarin “it” is no longer clutter if stored away neatly into closed bags of this shape with organization of the “things” i.e. winter clothing or extra bedding in summer. “it” is organization and underbed Feng Sui leads your mind into organized thought patterns and clarity. (The ‘bad’ Feng Sui comes from tossing things under the bed randomly.)
If you sleep a foot above the “bagged clutter” it unclutters your mind.
But NO DUST!!! dust under the bed could be seen as worse than organized storage in both practical and Feng Shui terms. If storage prevents dust from settling in an unused void, it could actually be better than an empty but dusty space. A dusty, neglected space disrupts chi just as much—if not more—than underbed storage. An empty space under the bed that collects dust might create stagnant, “unhealthy” energy.
If storage keeps dust at bay and is neatly arranged, it could be argued that it promotes a more controlled and cleaner energy. If your wife is against underbed storage due to Feng Shui, then keeping the area truly empty and dust-free is necessary.
The worst-case scenario would be an empty space that is never cleaned, leading to both bad Feng Shui and poor air quality.
Regularly clean under the bed to keep the energy fresh, organized storage wins over neglect.
@JohnQ118@pmarin These will prevent cats from being under the bed thus less need to vacuum under the bed because less cat hair under the bed. And dust. UNLESS there is just enough space between the top of these and the underside of the bed and then there will be cats imitating coach roaches to occupy that space. Because, well, cats and why would they want to use their soft cat bed?
One of my coach roach cats yesterday (that blue thing is a cat bed) …
We’ve used several of these over the years. They are not very robust.
The clear plastic becomes brittle unless always kept in moderate temperatures (no putting these in your attic or a storage unit), and they tear easily at the handles if even moderately weighted. The clear cover also separates from the fabric if stuffed with, say, a comforter. Do they have their place? Yes, just be aware of their limitations.
@gryhnd I had the same experience. I’ve seen some that were sturdier but expensive, never bought them, so maybe these could be. But all the ones I’ve had could rip apart just because you pulled the handle too quickly, or like you say I put just one extra towel in it and the zipper or its stitching just gave up on life. If you need to store A pillow or A light blanket, loosely fitting, I think these work to keep the dust off. Maybe someone will get these and report if they’re sturdier.
I have some old Ortho equipment (ie crutches, wrist wraps etc) as well as a couple of roll-out plastic storage bins that I really like. Those contain some excess canned goods from the garden last year that I didn’t have space for in the pantry. Need to pull them out and review what’s in there in case I can now move it into the rotation. Thanks for the reminder!
@DrunkCat@shawn I think it’s pretty good, bringing in the shame of a 404 error. “What happened after we left the bar?” ”I don’t know, I’m 404, bot-buddy”
I think the circle thing is not the degree symbol but rather a new version of the AT&T “Death Star” logo, indicating that in the future AT&T will control everything, as it once did in the glory days.
I bought these last time around. I don’t regret it. They hold alot more than I thought keeping in mind that the zippers aren’t the sturdiest. I think they’ll rip if you overfill them but I wasn’t tempted as they hold alot without having to do that.
Read the reviews on Amazon and many were just Meh.
Sounds like it’s a flimsy zipper bag with No support on bottom or the sides. Thunk I’ll take a PaSs on this one until it’s 6 for $12
Commerce hangover, no more buying!
@Lynnerizer Meh-rathon hangover? May I recommend 72 packets of electrolytes, a massaging wrap, a weird pillow, and cool underwear?
EDIT it’s just less fun when we no longer have to click madly to get a $5 IRK.

@Lynnerizer Ugh - hope you keep feeling better! Maybe your BOC will have some of those items … but better if you don’t need them anymore!
@Kyeh
Thanks! I’m finally feeling a little better. I even managed to keep down a baked potato and some ginger ale.
@Lynnerizer Yay!
I don’t like the new design… LOL
@Mandamm I can’t tell there was (is) a new site design.
@JohnQ118 @Mandamm See, thats good site design.
@Mandamm

If you buy enough of these you can store them all under your bed in these, bed storage-ception.
When I first saw the image on my phone I thought it was wads of money.
Thought Meh was using us for money laundering today
@OnionSoup if anyone needs to launder money these days they do a meme coin… And tbh I am a little surprised meh has not done a meme coin. And thankful.
@bobthenormal @OnionSoup Meh coin… it’s meant to be
@bobthenormal @phonepole
InstantRegretKoin? It’s meant to be!
(Or is it the Great Losses EcoiN?)
@bobthenormal @OnionSoup @phonepole GLEN reference? Cool!
@OnionSoup @phonepole oh boy, I may regret speaking this idea into existence… how appropriate though haha

I think the AI must not have been trained on very many pictures of gophers.
Not product related, but I just wanted to say I’m digging the site redesign. It’s good.

@JohnQ118 @Kidsandliz Guarding the cat bed? The price of cat bed is eternal vigilance.
Underbed? Screw you! That’s where my cats hang out!

@gryhnd this is helpful info, as I just bought a bunch of these. Going to use in my closet… good to know I shouldn’t overpack them! Thanks.

@chienfou Meh may charge you for the reminder service especially if you are not buying any of these.
@Kidsandliz
Nah… It’s included as part of VMP!
These are great to help store the shame in using “AI”.
@drunkcat /showme all the shame I have in using “AI”
@shawn 404 degrees? Can’t even make a circle? And with a suicide cord? You’re cooked.
@DrunkCat @shawn I think it’s pretty good, bringing in the shame of a 404 error. “What happened after we left the bar?”

@pmarin @shawn pretty good at draining out a lake for something i can do on a post it note, without the suicidal ideation

I have no more room under my bed
I would need more beds.
@mdiaz The obvious solution is to get some cinder blocks and raise the beds. Problem solved. Now you have room for these.
@Kidsandliz @mdiaz Raised beds help to control weeds and pests, and they prevent water from pooling when there’s excessive rain.
You need a bigger bed…
