@mehbee Thank you! It took longer than anticipated so missed the start of the derby… so I’m surprised and really happy to see it in the fog - spread the word if you want to see it printed

@ACraigL @narfcake @spiritgreen Hey so is the derby back to the 3 top voting spots? That’s what it says. I can’t keep up … I thought it had switched to one voting spot and 2 editor chosen designs just recently!

@jasneko @narfcake @Spiritgreen there’s no set number. It will go by votes unless the editors pick otherwise. Last derby was the first with the new rules and it still followed vote count.

At the end of the day, its a way to avoid cheaters or possibly designs they don’t like without needing to explain why.

@ACraigL @jasneko @Spiritgreen Agreed. When it used to take upwards of a thousand votes to place, an editor review wasn’t quite as necessary. Nowadays, since anyone with an Amazon account can vote, it’s needed to counter the vote-and-run folks that some with a huge social media following have garnered.

@ACraigL @narfcake @Spiritgreen Interesting. So basically now it’s a “maybe votes or maybe editorial choice” depending on how they feel? I totally missed that in my comprehension earlier! Hmm… certainly interesting!

@ACraigL @jasneko @Spiritgreen Correct. As I see it, votes will still be the primary factor, but this leaves Woot open to NOT print a top voted shirt if the voting was suspicious.

@ACraigL That’s the one I was looking for, and maybe you are right but it’s was apparent that it was the shirt saying it. I don’t know I really liked it, but I like the other two also.

@mehbee I discussed it with them. They were split on whether it was over the line or not. They decided last minute it was too far for them. I may pop it onto another site in the future.

@ACraigL You should because I found it cute and I land pretty well on the prude side…LOL.

@jasneko I meant to tell you I bought one for my crazy cat lady friend and had it sent over(she is crazy and has cats, but the crazy cat lady thing is just an affectionate joke). She loved it, especially because it’s different than most the T-shirt’s I send her.
