I own one of these that I bought on Amazon warehouse when it was on sale for about the same price
They are very durable, can function as a dry bag, and insulate just OK unless you use the feature to inflate the insulation layer which improves the air gap and guaranteed it will float even if it contains chilled rocks
Almost forgot to say it’s not great as a backpack for portage because of the placement of the straps, my only complaint

Their strength is convenience
Fantastic for a kayak because you can squish them into the hull, nice to carry in the car for frozen food, good for music festivals
Will NOT replace a good cooler hard side or soft side but they are very flat to store so easy to add to your cooler quiver and pull out for the right application
@oldmantick I used to work in outdoor adventure. My quiver includes a wide range of sleeping bags and jackets. Coolers not so much so. Looks like you do a lot of this kind of stuff too?
@ExtraMedium@ohheyitsmrwang Real “dry bags” that actually stay dry when, say, kayaking, shut by rolling more than twice. At least one review referenced that if it happens to be up side down melted ice leaks out. Don’t know if that is because they didn’t shut it right or not. The same company sells actual waterproof dry bags so if we are lucky they ported that shutting system across.

Though structurally not sure it would hold that weight, and almost certainly not the straps, or the back of the poor fool trying to carry it.
I originally thought (hoped?) that this was a container that you would fill with 20L of a liquid, and thought “Hey, that would be very cool/useful for multi day hikes and camping!” Oops.

And, yes, they are VERY family oriented, which makes them really successful hunters, but they’re endangered due to loss of habitat & humans mistakenly believing they’re a major threat to livestock. The all-too-common story these days, unfortunately.

The inflation port helps but still unless you go ice blocks your not getting 6 hours on a hot day where the ice is unmelted

Meh just handled a ton of Christmas shopping for me!
Can anyone who already owns these advise if these stay cold out on a boat? Lets say for 6-8 hours or so.
