The hard part of repackaging is getting all of the safety labels right. Something bad happens when the pan gets to hot. What? With Teflon/PTFE pans, not only did the nonstick coating stop working when the pans got too hot, but it killed any birds in the house. These are PTFE free, so if they kill birds, it will be with a different mechanism.
Review says the brownie one sliced someone’s finger clean open (with a photo, on amazon). Perfect to give to an enemy, meh can’t resist selling a knife!
Why in the heck can you only buy two of either one instead of one of each? I clicked the buy button but I don’t need two square skillets with no lids and I can’t see myself having the need to make two pans of brownies at the same time at any point in my life. With your shitacular shipping they won’t be here until next month so I can’t even give the other one as a Christmas gift!

The main reason I didn’t buy was due to getting two of the brownie pans. @wilstev That’s funny, I looked at that pack yesterday but didn’t get it because I would never use the square fry pans…I’m still not sold on the gimmicky brownie pans.

@therealjrn@wilstev I have several Wilton fancy cake pans. One that makes a cake in the shape of a rose, another that makes one in the shape of a castle. I make the castle one with white confetti cake in the summer and set it on a bed of light brown sugar as a sand castle. But the one that gets the most wows is the checkerboard cake.

I love that apparently it’s SOOOO hard to rail a spatula through a 9x13 pan of brownies to cut them up that someone is willing to spend an extra 10 minutes fucking with this Rube Goldberg contraption for poorer end results.
And then clean up after it.
Meh could knock the zero off that price and I still wouldn’t wasted the cabinet space on these things.
@Pufferfishy I think the idea is not to save on cutting up the brownies, but that each will have finished edges on all four sides. That’s not something I care about, but if I was doing bake sales on a regular basis I would.
@Pufferfishy I wavered quite a bit on spending a Jackson on these. I thought they were quite a bit gimmicky. But thanks to @moondrake turning my pretty little head with her checkerboard cake, my heart is filled with dreams of checkerboard sheet cakes.

You can make the checkerboard rounds without the special insert. Just get two round cutters to make the spacing.
@RiotDemon IANABaker - but this doesn’t seem like it should be that hard to do. Make a couple pan cakes, cut them into bars, assemble.
Am I missing something??? The examples provided see to be working really hard at what seems a simple concept. (not to mention it clearly helps knowing how to bake a cake without ruining it before it’s even out of the pan)

I bought the black friday 10" copper frying pan knock off at macy’s for $8. Works pretty good. Can’t imagine why you would need 2 brownie pans or 2 square pans though. I mix and match set would be better.
I can’t find it again, but someone posted a comment about removing the brownies. Two words. Parchment paper. I love it, sometimes beautifully on everything I’ve tried. Im on the keto diet and I plan to the brownie pans for everything from quiche-type muffins to cheese crackers. Wish me luck.

If you slice the cake across the top, it looks like a Target logo.
There are 3 circular metal pans with plastic dividers.
Put the plastic dividers in each pan, pour different batters into each section. Remove the dividers immediately before placing into the oven.
My wife has a set and played with mixing food dyes. She made a cake with 9 distinct colors.

Any time I see these brownie pans or the all edge brownie pan, there’s always a suggestion to use a muffin tin.
Always forget to try it, but I also rarely make brownies.
