Second reaction; they’re way too big to call “compact”, these are close to the size of a standard makeup mirror, which generally doesn’t have lighting and usually does have a stand with a swivel mount. (Which reminds me, I need to replace mine, but these won’t do that job as well as the one I had.) As makeup mirrors, they’d be somewhat useful, and at least big enough to be able to see both eyebrows and check that things are even. Now, if I actually did that more often, I still would not need two of them.
@sammydog01 i can attest to this. Purchased these for the wife and daughter as a gift. When they opened them, they were like "where am i supposed to use this? " one went to goodwill. The other went in the camping bin. Having said that, they make a great mirror for being out in nature - nice size, battery operated, self contained so as not to break, and light weight.
So- I get the sarcasm on this site. Read the reviews “ after” I just got them. Do I want to see my face so close up now? No. But am happy I ordered them, and btw- they came with the batteries. Really solid product, and glad I didn’t listen to all the shit about them.
