I totally agree with you… Same reason i think those stuck on CC holders suck. Plus now if you lose your phone you’re totally fucked.

@guyfromhawthorn @therealjrn wireless charging is overrated. It’s slow and you have to line up the device or it won’t charge. I’ve tried cheapo to expensive and Qi charging really sucks over all. Pop a Meh socket on there and you will forget about wireless charging forever.

@therealjrn It’s still not as fast as pluggin directly into the quick charger. I have an S10 too. Most of us peeps are active so to be able to say ride a bike or heavy equipment, it’s nice to be able to hold an use your phone with one hand and not worry about losing it. …like the YT vid of the road rage guy trying to take a pic and his phone blowing away done the expressway… would not have happened if he had a pop socket

@Joedetroit I didn’t either till I got mine. What’s cool is you can pry the socket up and re-position it at anytime and it’s still grips. Have the soket in the middle of the phone and it acts like a stand to watch Meh videos. Have it towards the bottom and it’s a great to hold your device in one hand.

Two days ago I discovered what folks do with PopSockets: They stick these things onto their slippery smartphones and tablets and grip 'em or slip 'em between their fingers like little knobs. Prevents their devises from falling out of their hands, crashing to the floor! (i could be wrong, but it sounds correct)

There is more - it is called “mehdown” as in a Meh-custom version of what is called “markdown” (simplified “markup”, get it?). There is italics, indentation, quoting, bold, URLs, etc. to avoid people learning HTML - the coding language of web pages that browsers use.

@Barney hahaha, nah I only bake for special occasions like birthdays and Christmas.

For Christmas my mom, sister and I bake easily a thousand cookies (no I am not kidding). Some typical like chocolate or sugar some ethnic from the “old country”. If I would be tempted to eat any of them it would be the old world family recipe ones as they are not very sweet.

I usually just make up trays for work or the big celebrations at my house. Then I have a handful of guy friends I grew up with who are single and they get a box each every year since they don’t have wives or girl friends to bake for them.
