@GeckoD If it’s anything like my Aukey, the total output is 65W. So subtract whatever the USB-A port is drawing from the 65W. If you’re pulling the full 18W on the USB-A you’d have 47W available on the PD port.
These are perfect for my laptop and this two pack is cheaper than the last single one I bought. The harder part is finding the proper cable for a decent price.
I got some of these before and they were great… Only problem is that I now only now where one is.
So, yeah, getting more to replace the ones stolen by gnomes.
@richrauch@TimW Like the ones where the “tech” is holding the soldering pencil by the metal sleeve just behind the tip? Or the minimalist office desk/table with monitor, minitower-case computer, task chair, and user, and there’s not a cable in sight anywhere? Or the one showing a static strap with the grounding lead clipped to a plastic flange?
@jfb If it is a Chromebook with USB C for power, you want a USB-C to USB-C cable rated for 60W fast charging. I’ve used these with right-angle plugs and I’ve been very happy with them on my Chromebook: USB-C cable
Description says 18w the specs say 65w - what gives?
I paid $15 more for the 65w back in June (and they have been great with a 17" MacBook Pro) - if these are the same this seems to be a bargain. But I am dubious.
been watching this item since the first 2 Meh listings, and on Morning Save. My Pixel 4 is running out of time and I should be good to go with the next phone. Waiting a bit to see how the P7 and P7P pan out.

Mine arrived today. What the hell, Meh? I paid for meh shipping, and you went and sent it across the country in less than a week. That is very good shipping. Please do better (worse) next time.
BCM 65W USB-C PD 18W USB-A
Too many big letters, not gonna buy.
@phendrick what you got against TLA’s? Their awesome.
POPSOCKETS! SPA KITS! POLLY POCKETS! AWESOME!
@hchavers TLA’s?
Three letter acronyms or “The Last Airbender”?
@hchavers @phendrick Or Temporary Lodging Allowance? Or Teaching and Learning Activities?
So, if both ports are in use, what’s the output per port?
@GeckoD If it’s anything like my Aukey, the total output is 65W. So subtract whatever the USB-A port is drawing from the 65W. If you’re pulling the full 18W on the USB-A you’d have 47W available on the PD port.

Do these have a UL label?
@courteousblock I would love to know this as well…
@courteousblock i got these last time. there’s a CE and a RoHS and some labels i don’t recognize
@braxtron thank you, I appreciate you checking. Have yours been working ok? I’m wary of this brand I’ve never heard of.
I got some of these before and they were great… Only problem is that I now only now where one is.
So, yeah, getting more to replace the ones stolen by gnomes.
@ArmchairGamer Your gnomes happen to eat at your dinner table on occasion? If yes you have leverage to get it back.
@ArmchairGamer do yours have a UL label?
@courteousblock I’ll have to check when I get home. I’m not sure mine are branded the same, but they look identical.
@ArmchairGamer @courteousblock they have CE label
No cables, no deal. I’m too lazy to go on the hunt for cables that aren’t more expensive than the chargers.
@einrad, Well, maybe,
‘you’re looking for cables n 2 many places
Looking for cables with too many faces!
What you looking for?’
@1DisabledWarVet @einrad I can’t say for sure, but my dime is on cables.

65W from the USB-C PD port, 18W from the USB-A port… But the photo shows the laptop being powered by the USB-A port??
@richrauch yep…the people who do marketing photos are notoriously tech dummies.
@richrauch @TimW Like the ones where the “tech” is holding the soldering pencil by the metal sleeve just behind the tip? Or the minimalist office desk/table with monitor, minitower-case computer, task chair, and user, and there’s not a cable in sight anywhere? /showme BC Master, banana for scale
@mediocrebot That looks like a cross between a spaghetti squash, a sloth, and a dog, wearing headphones.
Given that they are the same price, why would anyone opt for the chargers on Sidedeal today?
@haydesigner well although those are only 20W, they are Anker brand and very pocketable (face is about the same size as a quarter)
@haydesigner @troy And you don’t need the USB-A port
@haydesigner @katbyter @troy The standard USB port is there for added convenience and to save an outlet.
@haydesigner And you have VMP and get a 10% discount. Don’t know if members do.
@Kidsandliz Pretty sure there’s no VMP discount on top of deal of the day items.
@jeffcohen I didn’t realize it was a top of the day deal. Yes then you are right. No discount.
Is the two year warranty link a mistake?

I get a meh sales force login page.
To charge my Chromebook; what would be the right cable for this? Anyone have a link?
@jfb What model of Chromebook do you have?
@jfb If it is a Chromebook with USB C for power, you want a USB-C to USB-C cable rated for 60W fast charging. I’ve used these with right-angle plugs and I’ve been very happy with them on my Chromebook:
USB-C cable
@sleuth HP
@southpaw Yes it is with a USB C. Thanks for the advice.
@southpaw I know it’s a long shot, but you didn’t happen to work for a certain cellular provider a little while back, did you?
@sflesch Nope, I have never worked for any business, cellular or otherwise. I think southpaw is an ever-popular nickname for lefties like me.

The sale in June was for “30w or 65w” - hopefully this isn’t all just some Chinese labeling BS…
@Pufferfishy Looks like the USB-C is 65W PD, and the USB-A is 18W Qualcomm-spec. 3.0 is supposed to go to 30W, though.

Been wanting some to try, and got new iphones that use the usb-c as well.
Can I use this with my Leak Frog?
@beachbouy yes. just submerge everything and you’ll see how well it works.
of course I need more chargers. I have children.

Garbage
@wrongonred
personal experience or just a WAG?
@chienfou @wrongonred So one of them came to me Dead on Arrival, and the email doesn’t work.
Haven’t tried the other out of box.
@WillItWork @wrongonred
Thanks… good to know.
You had me at, “Why not?”

Do these work with any device without fast charging?
@garryv
most of the ones I have run across are backwards compatible.
