@Everbody So microfiber can refer to the denier of the fibers in the yarn. Meaning less than one denier per filament. Means really small and fine. Means NOT cotton.
Yes it’s made of polyester = not good for sensitive skin, nor is it breathable, which in that case buy them if you like to be sweating in bed or like to do a good for a Dutch oven on your partner.
@dtwsportsfan On the contrary, microfiber is highly breathable and it wicks moisture very well. That’s exactly the reason performance clothing is made of the stuff.
@wholeflaffer Are you suggesting this is like the fidget spinner deal? We can buy microfiber sheets, cut them up and sell them as a tool to clean your glasses… genius!
I was really excited when I saw the king sheets were $19 only to find $29 on the order page. Oh well, I can’t seem to get my order to go through. Has anyone been able to order?
Microfiber is just shitty polyester. Found that out the hard way with a horrible duvet cover. I only sleep on cotton or bamboo (the best). Get some bamboo sheets, Meh!
@Fuzzalini Alternatively, there are sheets woven from eucalyptus fibre, which some people like. I have a set: they are luxuriously soft, but a bit too warm for my taste, and shed a ton of fuzz the first 2-3 washings. My wife loves them though…
@MrNews You should know that there is literally no difference between “rayon made from eucalyptus” and “rayon made from bamboo” or “rayon made from recycled newspapers” for that matter. It’s all just a cellulose source.
It’s like saying there’s a difference in your house between electricity from solar or from wind.
@mike808 But the electricity from solar feels so much more… electric-y.
I thought those 600 tc Veratex Tencel (lyocell) sheets felt a little funky-- much prefer the 100% cotton 360 tc Wamsutta Supima Twill. Expensive, and worth every dollar.
Finally found a use for these. We had a freeze last night, and the sheets are just right to cover tender plants. They’re about the same weight as row cover.
Bought some of these last time. Feel ripped off. They aren’t microfiber. They are simply cheap polyester. At least they were the right size, but you will be sorry if you buy them I’m pretty sure.
I must have really low standards, because they feel ok to me for $13 per set and I even had to pay taxes! Although I have gone 6 months without changing sheets before and didn’t think much of it.
@clonetek Back in my college dorm days, I don’t remember ever changing the sheets during the semester or even washing the blanket for that matter. Nobody ever complained about any strange smells. In fact, the guys next door got more visits from the police about odd smelling “oregano” than anything else.
Sleeping on microfibre sheets, you will always dream small.
The wife bought some of these off the back of a truck once (“They were so cheap!”). T’was like sleeping on nylon stockings…
My first product from meh that I feel 100% ripped off. The sheets are paper thin and feel horrible. I gave them to my husband to rip up and use for “rags” in his shop. Paper towels would probably be more reliable, however.
I love meh…but this product makes you look soooooo substandard.
Kudos to the writer and/or editor for the proper use of “can not” here: “You can buy them or you can not buy them and we’ll still be happy you’re here.”
You’re happy and now I’m happy, not because I cannot buy them—I could but, I choose not to—but, because I get to mention that I despise the growing use of “can not” when “cannot” is what’s intended. Thanks.
@benjamoats Not that I want to slow your flounce, but mine has already shipped. Three days before what they had said…They always put the estimated shipping times in the description.
We’re going to miss your rich contributions around here.
How deep are the pockets?
@cengland0 According to this site, they are 16 inches.

If loading times are any indication, you guys are more passionate about sheets than anyone I want to meet.
@Pantheist I’m not passionate about sheets.
Servers are acting pretty sheety tonight…
I had a pet tarantula in high school to keep my mom out of my room…it worked
@ihaveyoursox And she let you stay in the house? Your mom is possibly the bravest woman on earth.
Really Meh…the servers.
Hey Dave, did Rutledge plug in the old servers again?
psst @Woody1 - @dave is a Rutledge, too.
@Thumperchick - @Dave - @Snapster yeah, but Dave knows I meant Matt.
I might know where you can find some interested customers, at least for the white ones…
@Brasssong
ಠ_ಠ
/giphy oh no
Have to get 2 sets of the same color? Sad!
@easterplatypus that’s exactly what I came here to say… It’s like deja vu all over again.
What are the microfibers made of? Plastic, cotton, wool, pleghm?
@Everbody Microfiber is a fancy way of saying polyester.
@Everbody Hedgehog
@norman8 Exactly. Does anyone actually like microfiber sheets?
@jtrk1966 I’m sleeping on a microfiber sheet right now. Feels soft.
I did not buy it from meh though, so you’ll have to look elsewhere for a review of these exact ones.
Not hedgehogs @mehcuda67, but porcupines.

@dtwsportsfan never had that problem with my set. Could be quility of the sets.
@dtwsportsfan On the contrary, microfiber is highly breathable and it wicks moisture very well. That’s exactly the reason performance clothing is made of the stuff.
(Everyone on meh tonight: “I know there’s a fuku there tonight, if I just keep hitting the refresh button enough times, it’s bound to show up.”)
Are these like the satin sheets that were advertised in the Back of Playboy magazine?
And, 18-29=you owe me monies?
@wew 18 - 29 is a range
Will these clean my glasses?
@wholeflaffer Are you suggesting this is like the fidget spinner deal? We can buy microfiber sheets, cut them up and sell them as a tool to clean your glasses… genius!
@jfeiner if it isn’t specified 99% of the time Eastern King. As a Californian with a Cal King, I found out that the hard way.
So…not for mattresses thicker than 12 inches? If someone could update the specs with dimensions, that would be a big help.
As a hedgehog breeder (my hand to Gawd that’s the truth, I breed African pygmy hedgehogs for a living), I heartily approve of this entire post.
Meh, be sheeting the bed tonight
A decent present, and I have to sleep on it.
I was really excited when I saw the king sheets were $19 only to find $29 on the order page. Oh well, I can’t seem to get my order to go through. Has anyone been able to order?
Managed to order twice. Thankfully was able to cancel one. Fun server tonight !!!
Fuko servers! Sadly, no Fuko to go along with them. Writeup was, uh, interesting. Has somebody been playing with the water in the office cooler?
Put my phone away and finished my movie because of server errors. Came back, hit buy, no silver king left. I blame me.
King size doesn’t specify if Cal King or Eastern King so I can’t order
No one ever says Eastern King, @jfeiner.
@jfeiner it’s always eastern king unless specified. It’s the most common.
Micromeh.
I love u meh, but please don’t sell microfiber. The particles from washing them kill fish and prob other stuff.

Microfiber is just shitty polyester. Found that out the hard way with a horrible duvet cover. I only sleep on cotton or bamboo (the best). Get some bamboo sheets, Meh!
@Fuzzalini They are on MorningSave now.
@Fuzzalini Alternatively, there are sheets woven from eucalyptus fibre, which some people like. I have a set: they are luxuriously soft, but a bit too warm for my taste, and shed a ton of fuzz the first 2-3 washings. My wife loves them though…
@OldCatLady “Made of high-strength microfiber/bamboo: 60% 90gsm Microfiber/40% Bamboo”
@Fuzzalini when you see a textile labeled “bamboo” you should read “rayon made from bamboo”.
@Sbear Oh, I’m well aware of that. Love my rayon sheets. Tried them all, they are the best. The softest, sleep cool, etc.
@MrNews You should know that there is literally no difference between “rayon made from eucalyptus” and “rayon made from bamboo” or “rayon made from recycled newspapers” for that matter. It’s all just a cellulose source.

Holy slow server Batman!
/giphy dinsdale
@spitfire6006006 well, that didn’t come out as expected…
Thread count?
@jonbcramer There are some threads. If you buy them, you may count them.
@jonbcramer does thread count matter when ‘microfiber’ is just basically plastic wrap?
Get some percale and then we’ll talk.
What’s the thread count and why should I care anyway
@Bevvie Thread Count
@Brasssong TY! Very GTK!
Like sweating your balls off while you sleep? Then get you some of these!
Bought some of these last time. Feel ripped off. They aren’t microfiber. They are simply cheap polyester. At least they were the right size, but you will be sorry if you buy them I’m pretty sure.

i thought these seemed terribly thin when I opened them. I can see through them. But I find them comfortable.

I opened one set, decided not to bother washing them, repackaged, and both are in the ‘donation’ box. I hope someone else can use them.

sooo thin. Can I return these?
@mgoetz no refunds for buyers remorse. Check the faq.
I have not received my sheets please advise
@dipper2034
Mine came with holes on them… Probably my last purchase on this site.
@Hiperix contact support.
@RiotDemon Done that… Waiting for reply.
Just a horrible purchase, these are beyond cheap, you can see through them they are so thin.
I ordered 2 sets… I got an email saying my order was cancelled after delivery date. No reason why… Refund?
The sheets fit so well, HALLELUJAH cuz my husband is a nut about that. I just wish they were thicker!!!
These suck
