Bought these last time. The quality is ok (better than you might think for what it is). It doesn’t fit well on the S9+, the clip is just a little bit too short to get the lens lined up. If you hold it down more it can get into place, but it isn’t that convenient, which kind of defeats the purpose
@charlie_tca curiously, I was looking back at my purchase history earlier and realized that I’ve given away a shockingly large percentage of my Meh orders. I’m not sure if this means I’m generous or I’m a terrible gift giver.
@dmillikan
I’ve tried it with the 2 XL; I understand they aren’t too much different.
The clip fits fine without a case, or with a thin case or skin. The lenses fit fine, but one of them fits over the phone camera lens, bringing it slightly closer than it was designed to be.
I mostly use the macro lens, since fisheye and super-wide can be emulated with the Pixel’s panorama mode without the blurring around the edge.
When using the macro lens, make sure to bring the camera within about .25 - .75 inches of the subject. It also makes great videos if you can hold it steady enough.
Bought these last time. Lenses started falling to pieces almost immediately. Haven’t opened the second box because I was going to gift it but now feel that would be rude.
My phone has two little cameras side by side to make better pictures (don’t ask about the tech, I barely understands it) but I don’t think these will work.
@PlacidPenguin Yeah, that’s nuts. I do know that my two cameras assist in focusing, and this is the best focusing camera I’ve ever had. It’s hard to take a bad picture. Five cameras seems like overkill.
And, we are back to weird lenses. How I miss the days when every deal was new or comical (candy corn memories still bring a smile). But we are now in the post Fuku days.
These kinda suck. Bummed. Lent one set to a friend going to a festival. Maybe she will have better luck. The lens I rigged out of a laser pointer lens and a Bobby pin worked better
I just opened these. Only one of the lenses actually screws into the clip. The other ones don’t fit, so there is no way to use them. Did anyone else have that problem?
So this is what the post-Fuko world looks like.

@SkyyPunk, thank you for this
@SkyyPunk Same for the S8
I was wondering the same for my Note8. @rtjhnstn @SkyyPunk
It’s very difficult to get it to work on a note 8. I tried everything and the photos still came out mehdiocre. @frankinchi @rtjhnstn @SkyyPunk
Umm I’m no mathematician but I only count 40 winners in the write up. Where are the other 10?
@Rueki Oops, my copy and paste messed up! I’ll edit it and add the other ten.
[edit] Ok, all 50 are in there now. Thanks for counting!
@Rueki … and apparently some fairly qualified accountants as well - nice catch!
The effect of the “zoom” lens can be acquired without the lens in place. Simply extend your arm before taking a picture.
Can’t “picture’ buying these-“camera” you?
Where’s my birthday shirt? Did you run out of sprinkles?
Which lens makes this look less meh?
Meh.
I am so frustrated missing the fuko, I ordered two sets of these lenses. That will fix them! I will just give them away, anyway. What the Meh!
@charlie_tca curiously, I was looking back at my purchase history earlier and realized that I’ve given away a shockingly large percentage of my Meh orders. I’m not sure if this means I’m generous or I’m a terrible gift giver.
@nolrak You’re terrible at selfishness.
@dave @nolrak you’re also pretty much a failure at hoarding.
@dave @nolrak a discerning hoarder is a thing of beauty
@dave @mehmeyousweet That looks like my new life motto right there.
@charlie_tca I’ll show you… I am gonna send you a Fuko
well, it COULD have been two Fuko’s in a row.
@wew no. The last one was the last one. The next one is not a fuku
Oh thank god, I was fearing a Mehrathon and another sleepless night.
@nolrak Hey, if you play your cards right, you can still make it another sleepless night. You’re welcome.
@gertiestn well so far I’ve forgone sleep to muck around in the forums … so there you go

Interesting that you were able to pick just 50 from all of those names. It’s a creative bunch you’ve got here!
Anyone try these on a pixel 2? Curious if they fit or work well at all.
@dmillikan simply sprinkle on some pixie dust and you’re good to go!

@bwiderski just give them to someone you don’t like very much.
Apple only or will it work with my Note?
My phone has two little cameras side by side to make better pictures (don’t ask about the tech, I barely understands it) but I don’t think these will work.
@Fuzzalini
Well read this. You might end up flabbergasted: https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/07/09/report-galaxy-s10-five-cameras-three-rear-two-front/

I bought these last time I’m happy with them. Great toys.
I hope it fits a S8, cause I bought the dang thing!
@clonetek see above Skyypunk comment…(oops!)
I’m feeling OK-I didn’t try for one, so didn’t get one and I could think of no reasonable (or unreasonable) names.
@andyw Can you bake?
And, we are back to weird lenses. How I miss the days when every deal was new or comical (candy corn memories still bring a smile). But we are now in the post Fuku days.
Ah man, the write up included the name I submitted, but apparently I was too late to the party…
Meh. Last time I bought these, one lens broke within five minutes of opening the box thanks, but no thanks
Bought these last time, don’t really fit on my s8 at all, oh well
The hype on these truly mediocre lenses from the con-artists is really amusing. “DSLR owners are GIVING UP their cameras to use THESE lenses!” Uh-huh.
Fuko you, Fuko you, you OK.
Don’t think these will work with most phone cases looking a the clip design…
These things suck. I’ll never buy them again.

Okay, I figured it out - the clip comes with 2 lenses on it, and the Macro lens is stuck on the clip.
How do you separate the .67x lens from the macro lens?
They seem to be stuck together by my set.
@mystictissue
Did you try using a wrench?
