@ThunderChicken I figure the spread on any kind of shot is going to be minimal at home-defense distances so I just use slugs. Even a non-mortal hit will likely be a fight stopper. I mainly want to make sure I know what I’m shooting at with a light.

Was going to pick them up for mom’s walkers but after watching the video, the light output looks pathetic. I guess will have to stick with the fairy lights lining the railing.
@ponagathos I feel like a quality bike light would be better, in part because it’s pointing forward instead of straight down, but also has better light output.
I bought several to clamp on our strollers. Good way to improve visibility at crosswalks in winter where I’m more likely to be out with the kiddo after dark.

White 5mm leds which is what these look like can put out up to 20,000mcd, but the conversion to lumens involves other knowledge. You know the cheap little keychain lights that you squeeze and the LED on the end lights up? Put six of them together and it should be about like this.

Best use case for me: snow shoveling at night. Or maybe doing these at night? (no emoji for my #1 fav hiking ) I already have a headlamp, so $15 incl. shipping is a bit indulgent since I only buy this shit for me so… Meh
Home Depot has these for $18 ea. With action photos. Does not seem bright at all. Also, the separate O-rings? That’s what you use to fasten them closed, in case you didn’t realize. Meh.

I can’t shoot from the shoulder because of cancer operations. Under the circumstances I consider it amazing shooting just hitting the target stand.

Aaaah…there’s nothing like sweeping floors in the dark at midnight. That’s the FIRST thing that came to mind when I saw this.

@lwmctz These would be horrible for a bike. For downward lighting I use the Blackburn Central 100 for off road and the 2’fer for road.
