I just started making amigurumi (crochet) star wars creatures and have resorted to wearing my hiking headlight while doing so to see. These gloves will be doing double duty as a light but also finger protection from the thread (I crochet pretty tightly so my fingers get calloused quickly). And the kids can use them to pretend to be superheros. In for 3 pairs!

Got mine today. Put in 2x AAA eneloops, and they work just fine.
The lights are on the weaker/dimmer side, but for the price it’s about what I expected. I’ll say this, they’re pretty light and comfy, and the fabric is really soft and smooth.
This will be nice for when I’m doing some precision handheld work, like soldering or working on a computer and I need light, but not super bright that it’s blinding or overwhelms what I’m looking at.
Edit: in hindsight, I’m actually thinking the lights are deliberately on the dimmer side as they’re meant to shine on something at your fingertips and not blind you. If you want to illuminate a whole room, get a flashlight or headlamp.
Personally I treat the “AS SEEN ON TV” logo as a warning label.
How is it hands-free when you have to wear them on your hands?
