21 diamonds totaling .25 carat. That’s an average of 0.0119 carat per diamond. I’ve got some diamonds of this size and quality cemented on my Harbor Freight drill set out in the garage. Very nice!
I always wondered how it is that things with supposedly genuine diamonds in them can be sold so far below the actual value of said diamonds, unless the value of diamond tanked while I wasn’t looking, or these are actually CZ and Kohl’s (or whoever actually commissioned them) are dirty rotten liars. Perhaps someone here can help explain.
@PooltoyWolf diamonds are extremely overpriced at jewelry stores. These also tend to use lower grade jewels but the average person won’t notice a difference.
@PooltoyWolf I3 clarity: From a diamond retailer’s site: “Diamonds that fall in the I1-I3 clarity chart tier have visible inclusions without a microscope. I1 clarity have the least amount of eye-visible inclusions, whereas I2 diamonds have very visible inclusions. I3 diamonds are the lowest clarity grade possible prior to industrial drill bit use.” Most decent jewelry is SI1 or better, also called “eye clean.” This apparently does not use eye clean quality diamonds.
@PooltoyWolf Also lab created diamonds are a thing. I like lab created stones because they are the same thing but cheaper. Also no one dug them out of a hole for peanuts in a third world country.
Meh F-d up, again! I bought this for my wife for Mothers’ Day. It didn’t arrive by Saturday (which was fine) so I showed her what I got her and said that it would be arriving later. I reached out to Meh to find out when it would arrive, so Meh decided to give me my money back! Now My wife doesn’t have the gift I bought her!!! F- you too, Meh!!!
Please fix your mistakes, Meh! I’m not okay with you canceling a sale without my permission! This was supposed to be a gift for my wife for Mothers’ Day! Thanks to your “professionalism”, the item I bought is no longer on its way.
@gal3n181@skrubol Yep, same here, smh… I’ve sent meh 3 emails on this and no replies on ANY on them. Just asking why they would advertise this as being for Mother’s Day when they couldn’t/wouldn’t fulfill this?! Very disappointed
Update: Meh may have shipped the necklace to me despite sending the refund. If this is the case then I owe Meh a sincere apology. Thank you to the team lead who looked into the situation fully.

More clean coal!
Oooooh…can also be used as a cat toy apparently.
Mom received her necklace today. She is very happy with it!
@PooltoyWolf
Mother’s Day is every day, right?
@Kyeh Yep!!

@halcyoncmdr not having a microscope helps the not noticing the lower grade part
@halcyoncmdr That makes sense!
@halcyoncmdr @PooltoyWolf
Yeah, they have the lowest clarity rating, and they’re very small.

@PooltoyWolf @txag96 Oh, hah - I was just posting essentially the same info!
@halcyoncmdr @Kyeh This is very helpful!
@halcyoncmdr @PooltoyWolf
I don’t actually own (or want) any diamonds, except I think there are some teeny tiny ones on a Tanzanite ring.
@halcyoncmdr @Kyeh The cost vs. what I’d get from owning diamonds just isn’t worth it to me.
@halcyoncmdr @PooltoyWolf
Same here.

@PooltoyWolf @stazja01 Do you mean Arkansas?
meh has a softer side! while i love the usual quirky, snarky write-ups, they nailed it on the genuine heartfelt one today.
But can I pay with Kohls cash? The gift that continues to give…

Can Meh “un-refund” my money and send me the thing I bought?
What an a-hole thing to do. Why wouldn’t they ask IF you wanted it refunded?
@krock1 They won’t even reply to me… 4 EMAILS TO THEM!!!
Just send us the things we buy, Meh! Isn’t that how your business is supposed to work?

Something shiny? No. Something Genuine? No. It’s something that wasn’t sold in the Meh-a-than. Wow!!

Meh is advertising this as “ The best Mother’s Day gift!”, but it’s not arriving until AFTER Mother’s Day?!?

@stevebopp I hope we all get our orders before Mothers day ):
@stevebopp mine still says processing
@gal3n181 @stevebopp As of 2 days after Mother’s day, my order also still says processing. (though mine did say it was expected May 7th.)

@stevebopp Mine showed to be here the Friday before Mothers day and I still don’t have it.
“Genuine Diamonds” are to diamonds as “Genuine Leather” is to cow hide: not worth the price.

I’m sure glad I purchased this for Mother’s Day - just got shipped today 4 days after. Thanks a lot.
