@Cerridwyn@connorbush@troy Also appreciated! Even so, the official list fails to specify whether the B12 is cyanocobalamin or methylcobalamin (by which I’ll presume cyanocobalamin even though they’re trying to be Premium about everything else).
Also wondering why exactly these should be kept away from children. Seems a weird thing to state, for anything edible that isn’t alcoholic or some form of medication, or a choking hazard.
@PooltoyWolf For some of the brands of protein bar, their unchewability ought to make them a choking hazard in general. I have no idea if these have that issue.
Some diet foods think they can improve my health.
Maybe sniff maybe.
I have yet to find a diet food that made me healthier than my 8,000 daily step goal.
@sleepyjoey I remember that and I was a little concerned initially but I thought somebody came out later and said that the study was flawed but I can’t remember
@sleepyjoey I think the study were with extremely crazy higher amounts than a person would normally consume. At least, according to a YouTube video I saw
Y’all got me to bite without having to list it repeatedly until the beginning of next year but this “cookie dough” better send me to a higher plane of existence.

@connorbush@Tenorsinging there’s also the artificial sugar, which have different allergy effects (usually the common are stomach bloating and diarrhea)
Anyone know how important/strict the expiration dates on these things are? Protein/etc. bars like this are pretty tightly sealed and, I thought, used a lot for emergency use, i.e. setting on a cool dry shelf for a while until an emergency.
Do I need to adhere more strictly to the dates as marked?
@aa040371 Not sure for these, but I know on whey protein powder in general, because whey is a dairy product, they have shorter expiration dates, however you are right, they last way longer than the date on the package.
When you do products like this, please actually post the ingredient list. Not just the fake vitamin list
@Cerridwyn +1 I had to jump over to Amazon to find it.
@Cerridwyn @connorbush Added!
@Cerridwyn @troy thank you!
@connorbush @troy Thank you. A lot of these protein bars have allergens in them of various types so it’s good to know whether or not you can eat them.

Aaron’s Fitbit Device name is “Sasha”. Don’t touch it!
I love how each successive product flavor photo shows less and less of the actual product.
But I don’t want a moshy brain!
@rockblossom Yes you do. That is the tastiest type.
@yakkoTDI It looks like the cookie dough one would be good to moshify a brain, because:
@rockblossom @yakkoTDI And Vitamin O3, too.
@werehatrack Ha! I missed that. What’s gun-fed protein without a little ozone?
Is this good for working in the mosh pit?
@yakkoTDI Sure, just make sure you eat it ahead of time, not while getting moshed against
Isn’t Erythritol the sweetener that was recently found to cause clots?
https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/erythritol-cardiovascular-events#:~:text=These results suggest that consuming,risks of erythritol are warranted.
@sleepyjoey
WOW I’m high risk for clots and to think I almost got these… YIKES, THAT’S SCARY!
@Lynnerizer @sleepyjoey pb crunch doesn’t list it— maybe in error?

@gameboy8877 @Lynnerizer @sleepyjoey it doesn’t have it (still has stevia and monk fruit)

Anyone know what’s in it that might be bad for kids? Had a children warning in describing the product.
@Tenorsinging perhaps the ashwagandha? Idk though I found conflicting information on the interwebs
@connorbush @Tenorsinging there’s also the artificial sugar, which have different allergy effects (usually the common are stomach bloating and diarrhea)
Agave. Fructose. Pass.
@werehatrack what’s wrong with those two? I didn’t know there were allergies to cactus juice and (usually) apple/corn juice?
But can you do… The Milano Mosh…
@Blahbbs Once I’ve consumed enough Wheat Thins and beer, sure.

Beef collagen clearly listed on the back of the peanut butter crunch box. Been nice to know that before ordering, straight in the trash these go.
@pajamma Snap a photo of that and toss it to meh.com/support, the ingredients listing really should have been complete.
@pajamma @werehatrack Unless they changed the box, I don’t see that (image from the Moshbrand website)
Second ingredient in the “brain blend”.
https://imgur.com/a/e5qhgFT
@pajamma Oh - weird! I guess it’s what they’re calling “citicoline,” which is evidently derived from animal sources.
@Kyeh @pajamma Looks like the Meh batch has a different “brain blend” than the one copied up top.
