Today’s boat is a Boston Whaler. They are good classic vessels with a distinctive look and handle well and hold their value well.one of the easiest to is on the water.
@Lighter well traditionally whales were killed using small boats with harpoons and then rowed back dragging the whale to a larger boat that would have a winch system.
I want to go fishing. My Dad had a boat and we used to take it out on Lake Mead and parts of the Colorado River to fish and cruise. 21’ Glastron cuddy cabin cruiser with a pair of 75hp Evinrude outboards.
No ocean going though. Still need to do that someday
Nice.
A great boat WITH A MOTOR!
Good choice.
I haven’t owned a boat in decades.
My fav was a 19’ Arima, a great fishin’ and shrimping boat or just touring around the Puget Sound or the islands in the Straits.
They kept changing all the fishing regs & boundaries every year to the point where you need to bring a lawyer with you just to keep yourself legal…
I’ve always wondered - How do you get a whale on that thing once you have caught it?

@CaptAmehrican I guess that’s what I get for reading the Classic Comics version of Moby Dick
I’ve loved this boat series. And today, it features a boat I’ve been on! I think it was 50 years ago.
