These have come around a few times. Has anyone actually tried them to see if they are any good? I won’t be had again. I once bought the Lucas batteries…
Testing says their performance is pretty much the same as Amazon Basics, so this is a pretty good deal IF you go through enough AA batteries to use these up in a couple of years. Refrigerating an alkaline battery makes essentially no difference in its shelf life. Depending upon production and design factors, nearly all of them start to have significant declines in random individual batteries by the four-year mark, and most of them will be well below a full charge long before the claimed 10-year shelf life is reached. Some will probably be dead and leaking by half that. So if you use four to six AA batteries per month on average, this is a good buy. If you use a dozen per month, it’s reasonable to grab two or even three.
I threw the Lucas batteries in the trash once I was sure these didn’t leak and just not work at all like most of the Lucas batteries I bought previously. These have been GREAT so far.

@shahnm this deal has your name on it. I hope your fridge has room for the big party that will take place there when these guys arrive.
@Kidsandliz Missed it…

I’ve had another tab for these for $39 on MorningSave open all day as we ran out of AAs yesterday, glad I waited!

Got them today. 122 in the box, so 12 extra as a bonus.
