Bummer. The world didn't end.

We were gonna have it made. First, we gouge our customers on the Panasonic SolarSmart portable solar charger in anticipation of the imminent apocalypse. Then the apocalypse happens.

THEN we use our remaining stash to make ourselves Lords of Bartertown! Step right up and give us everything you own for the only power source left in our shattered world! Grovel before us, you grimy post-apocalyptic rabble, as we hit another bitchin’ chord on our solar-powered flamethrower guitar!

As you can tell, because you’re sitting in your ergonomic desk chair reading this with a cold Coke Zero by your side instead of digging for mutant grubs in the rock-hard, blast-baked radioactive soil, it didn’t work out that way.

NOW what do we do? Everybody’s still running around breathing air and drinking water and driving cars and getting the most of their free Amazon Prime two-day shipping and making love. And we’re stuck with all these damn SolarSmart things.

So yeah. Here. Buy it. It’s cheaper this time. It charges these two Eneloop batteries, either with solar power or with USB power. And then you can charge your phone or whatever with that stored power. And who knows? The world could still end soon. You gotta have hope, you know?

Until that happens, us becoming Master Warlords of the Wasteland is probably off the table. The best we can hope for is to come close to breaking even. We probably should have come up with a Plan B instead of wasting all that time practicing our flamethrower-guitar poses.
